Gateway Woods provides quality and affordable adoption services, for both international and domestic adoptions, to persons living in central and northern Indiana. Our skilled and highly trained Adoption staff has over 35 years of combined experience. As a smaller agency, we are able to offer personalized services to our clients, with a focus on quality. We are extremely careful in matching a child with his/her prospective parents, and we always work with both the child's and family's best interest in mind. In collaboration with Gateway Woods Foster Care, we offer the Foster to Adopt option. Our goal is to make your adoption experience a true blessing.

Affordable Rates
Gateway Woods offers affordable rates for our quality adoption services.
Domestic
- Home study and adoption training $1,500 (fees include 100 miles round trip)
- Post placement visit & report $150 + travel
- Final visit & court report $200 + travel
- Home Study Update $450 (fees include 100 miles round trip)
- Placement fee 12% of income (minimum charge of $10,000, maximum charge of $14,000, excluding additional expenses listed on the Placement Agreement)
International
- Home study and adoption training $1,700 (Fees include 100 miles round trip)
- Countries under the Hague Convention and Russia $1,800
- Post placement visit & report $200 + travel
- Home study updates $850 (Fees include 100 miles round trip)
Home Study Addendums
- Home Study Addendum $75 per hour + travel
Other Charges
- Mileage is charged at the current IRS rate
- Adoption Placement Assistance beyond 2 hours $75.00 per hour
- Expedited home study fee $200 (less than 30 days)
- Psychological Evaluations for Adoption available through our Counseling Department

- After the phone contact, an informational packet will be sent out with an application included. (There is no application fee.)
- After the application is returned, an office interview with be set up. If our Adoption Services are desired, a contract and other paperwork will be given at the office interview.
